*ON Define Events for Latent Conditions

*ON %ABEND CONTINUE | SKIP .label

*ON %ABEND is satisfied when CFS is terminated abnormally. This will be the case, for example, if the communications line is lost, or if an /EXEC, /LOAD, /DO, /CALL, or /LOGOFF command is entered in BS2000 command mode with CFS still loaded. When the %ABEND condition is encountered, the procedure controlled mode will be activated, and the action specified in the statement will be carried out.

CONTINUE The procedure will restart at the point at which it was interrupted by the last *DIA statement.

SKIP .label The procedure will be restarted at the specified label, and processing will be continued from there.
