CFS Catalog & File Services
from BS2000 to UNIX - you can start immediately
CFS (Catalog & File Services for UNIX) is a software tool with the same user interface and identical functions as the software CFS for BS2000.

Functions of CFS (extract):
Selection of files, library elements and directories using the same syntax
Change of file attributes (owner, group membership, access rights, ...)
Move, Copy, Delete files and directories
Filetransfer
Edit and create file archives (TAR, CPIO, AR)
Display and Modify any file content
Command memory, hardcopy, emulation of programable keys
Support of various edit-programs (i.e. VI, CED, MAXED, EDT, ...)
Find- and Rewrite function for searching and editing lots of files
Context sensitive help for each function
EDT is part of CFSX:
offers all functions of the BS2000 EDT;
further functions: Record length up to 320000; Undo; Autosave; Code conversion; Floating point variables; Several data in a work area
Procedure mode for automation
